Xiaomi POCO F7 revealed to receive dedicated global and Indian releases
Xiaomi looks to be preparing another slew of Redmi and POCO smartphones that could be with us later this year. In recent days, evidence that the company was developing the POCO F7 Pro for global audiences, which it will offer in China as the Redmi K80. Additionally, the first members of the Redmi Note 14 series also appear set for a late 2024 arrival, albeit only in China.
On top of that, Xiaomi is already actively testing the POCO F7, evidence of which we have embedded below. As with the POCO F6 (curr. $394 on Amazon), it seems that the POCO F7 will receive dedicated global and Indian releases. With that being said, these POCO F7 launches may occur simultaneously if Xiaomi continues with the release schedule it employed in May for the POCO F6.

Typically, Xiaomi's model numbers indicate when it intends to release a device. In this case, it has assigned the POCO F7 the digits '2412', which should correspond with a December 2024 launch. However, these can refer to a device's Chinese debut, as proved the case with the POCO F6 Pro.
It is currently unclear if or to what other device the POCO F7 is related, though. Potentially, the POCO F7 could serve as an international version of a future Redmi 'Turbo' smartphone, given that the POCO F5 and POCO F6 were effectively just re-branded Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Redmi Turbo 3 devices, respectively. Unfortunately, no details have emerged about Xiaomi's next 'Turbo' smartphone yet, which should carry the model number 2412DPC0AC.
