Prominent leaker shares some key specs of Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered RedMagic 10 Ultra

RedMagic is tipped to release a new gaming phone lineup soon, the RedMagic 10 series. Prominent leaker Digital Chat Station recently reported that the lineup will feature two models, with the alleged Ultra model featuring a 7-inch display. This would make the device one of the largest smartphones with the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Digital Chat Station has now shared more details about the RedMagic 10 Ultra. Besides featuring a large-sized screen, the upcoming gaming phone is said to sport a large battery capacity. More specifically, the leaker shares that it will pack two 3,450 mAh batteries, which would bring the combined capacity to over 7,000 mAh.

To compare, the RedMagic 9S Pro packs a 6,500 mAh battery, which can offer up to three hours of continuous gaming and over 15 hours of 1080p video playback. The higher total capacity, combined with the more efficient Snapdragon 8 Elite, should make the upcoming flagship phone offer better runtime.

The Weibo tipster also shares that the RedMagic 10 Ultra will support 100W fast charging (140W Anker 737 power bank curr. $109 on Amazon). This would be another upgrade over the 9S Pro because that gaming phone had support for 80W, and it was advertised to reach from 0% to 100% in just 35 minutes.

Besides that, Digital Chat Station adds that the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered gaming phone will have a straight screen, and like its predecessors, the front is expected to feature an under-display selfie camera. Other details, like the pricing information, are still under wraps, but the RedMagic 10 series could soon be detailed by the company.
