Xiaomi 14T Pro verdict: High-class smartphone with flagship vibes

With the 14T Pro, Xiaomi introduces an interesting high-class smartphone to the market. The Xiaomi 14T Pro shows some smaller gaps compared to the high-end Android segment, although the lack of a USB 3.2 connection and missing LTP0 technology in the 144-Hz OLED display might represent a rather large deficit in everyday operation for most users. But the Xiaomi smartphone still offers a very good battery life in our detailed review, even without a dynamically adjusting refresh rate.

The price of the Xiaomi 14T Pro starts below 800 Euros (~$867, or $720 from Amazon, for example in the US), and at the time of our test, the street price of the high-class smartphone is already more than 100 Euros lower than its official MSRP, which is quite a deal for the hardware used. Not only does the 6.67-inch AMOLED display offer a high scan rate of up to 480 Hz, but the 1220p panel can potentially also get extremely bright. Playing 4K video material in our test, we measure an outstanding 4,407 cd/m² for the Xiaomi 14T Pro, which means that you can expect some first-rate HDR effects.

In contrast to the 14 series, the Xiaomi 14T Pro doesn't use an SoC from Qualcomm but a MediaTek chipset.
