The Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro have been launched globally, with an impressive list of features despite the relatively affordable pricing. With 144 Hz displays boasting a peak brightness of 4,000 nits and Leica-tuned cameras, the 14T series from Xiaomi appears to be a solid performer, at least on paper.

Xiaomi has officially announced its latest T-series smartphones, the 14T and the 14T Pro. Breaking from tradition, both the 14T and 14T Pro will be available globally, instead of a limited release in select regions.

At its heart, the Xiaomi 14T is powered by the Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC, while the higher-tier Xiaomi 14T Pro packs the powerful Dimensity 9300 flagship SoC. Both smartphones sport up to 12 GB of memory, along with maximum storage options scaling to a generous 512 GB for the 14T and a whopping 1 TB for the 14T Pro. On the front, both devices rock a 144 Hz, 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2712 x 1220, and a peak brightness of a whopping 4,000 nits.

Moving over to camera performance, neither of the handsets disappoint. The 14T features a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50 MP f/1.7 primary camera with Sony's IMX906 sensor flanked by a 12 MP ultra-wide unit with an aperture of f/2.2, and finally a 50 MP f/2.2 telephoto lens. The 14T Pro, on the other hand, rocks a 50 MP, f/1.6 main camera with Xiaomi's in-house Light Fusion 900 sensor, a 60mm f/2.0 telephoto camera with another 50 MP sensor, and a 12 MP ultra-wide with an aperture of f/2.2. Selfie enthusiasts will be happy to note that the 32 MP front camera is standard in both variants.

Connectivity options differ slightly, with WiFi 7 for the Pro variant and WiFi 6E for the base variant, a bunch of Leica-tuned camera features including filters and a nifty portrait mode, a 5,000 mAh battery with up to 120 W wired fast charging, and a plethora of AI features courtesy of Google's Gemini. Xiaomi promises 4 years of OS updates, along with an extra year of security updates.

The Xiaomi 14T Pro and 14T will feature three colorways, including Titan Gray, Titan Blue, and Titan Black. As for pricing, the 14T Pro is priced at Є799.90 for the 12 GB + 256 GB model, Є899.90 for the 12 GB + 512 GB version, and Є999.90 for the 12 GB + 1 TB variant. Meanwhile, the lower-tier Xiaomi 14T is offered at Є649.90 for the 12 GB + 256 GB option and Є699.90 for the 12 GB + 512 GB configuration.

Interestingly, neither the Xiaomi 14T nor the 14T Pro will include a charger in the box for environmental reasons, or at least that's the official narrative. For those unconvinced, Xiaomi offers the option to score a 120 W or 67 W charger for just €0.99. Also, the highest-end variants of the 14T and the 14T Pro will boast a limited-time discount of €50 and €100 discount respectively on Mi.com when purchased between September 26 and October 11 of this year.
