RedMagic 10 Pro tipped to launch with fast charging for extra-large battery

The 10 Pro is probably the only variant of RedMagic's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered flagship smartphone series that will be available internationally. In the meantime, its Chinese version may have been certified to use 120W charging over USB-C.

It is thought to be the 10 Pro as it has been registered as the NX789J, which seems a most direct descendant of the NX769J model number associated with the early 2024 9 Pro.

The RedMagic 10 Pro is also thought to have one of the 8 Elite-powered Android flagship scene's biggest, ~7,000mAh batteries to go with one of its largest displays, with a diagonal length nearer to 7 inches than most - although its alleged series-first Ultra variant might be even bigger.

However, it is possible that the 10 Pro might have the same 1.5K punch-hole free display technology also reportedly destined for the Nubia Z70 Ultra, whereas the 10 Ultra might not.

Then again, both new RedMagic flagships might benefit from cooling now tipped to gain an even "more radical" cooling system in its 10th generation - which, coming from a line of smartphones in which active fans and air intakes have become the norm, would be saying something.
