Xiaomi has not long introduced the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. Nonetheless, there is already evidence that the company has moved on to its next set of high-end smartphones. In this case, what appears to be the Redmi K80 series has now received regulatory approval from the China Quality Certification Center (CQC) on the road to its release.
As the screenshot below shows, Xiaomi has certified three smartphones in one go. This time, it seems that the company will soon release the 24117RK2CC, 24127RK2CC and 24122RKC7C, all with comparatively high wired charging speeds. Specifically, while the latter two are rated for up to 120 W, the 24117RK2CC makes do with 90 W wired charging instead.
Thus, it would appear that the 24117RK2CC is a cheaper alternative to the 24127RK2CC and 24122RKC7C. Currently, the trio are presumed to be the Redmi K80E, Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro. While Xiaomi may only offer these models in China, they should eventually come to market under different names, just as the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro (curr. $479.99 on Amazon) did earlier this year as rebadged Redmi Turbo 3 and Redmi K70 smartphones, respectively. To that end, the Redmi K80 Pro is anticipated to receive a global release as the Poco F7 Ultra in early 2025 with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a huge 6,000 mAh battery.
