Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro available to import before anticipated global release
Oppo has not long introduced the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, albeit only in China. For reference, the two new high-end smartphones were joined at a launch event alongside a whole host of other Oppo devices, including the Pad 3 Pro. Following that, sister company OnePlus unveiled a successor to last year's OnePlus 12 (curr. $749.99 on Amazon), which was available to import shortly after its official Chinese release.
Similarly, both of Oppo's latest Find X smartphones can also be imported from China for competitive prices. As always, Giztop and TradingShenzhen are some of the first third parties to offer the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro for those living outside China. Please note that there are some restrictions when importing any device from either company.
For example, they will run Chinese software that does not offer feature parity with the global version of ColorOS that Oppo also distributes. As a result, Android Auto will not work, which may also extend to some banking and contactless payment apps. With that being said, even Chinese versions of ColorOS offer multi-language support. Likewise, Oppo includes Google Mobile Services and the Google Play Store. Thus, most other apps should work, including Google's suite of first-party apps.
As it stands, Giztop is only selling the Find X8 Pro, which starts at $899 with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Alternatively, the device can be configured with three other memory combinations, which culminate in a 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB variant that comes in at $1,099. Ultimately, TradingShenzhen is more expensive across the board when it comes to the Find X8 Pro. However, it does sell the Find X8, which starts at approximately $725.
