Oppo A5 Pro tipped to launch as mid-range Android smartphone with flagship looks and 50MP camera
Oppo has a new smartphone in the works, thought to debut as a successor to the A3 Pro currently available on Amazon.in.
Unlike that K12-like smartphone, its new TENAA registration shows a device more like a purple version of the new flagship Find X8. Then again, the putative A-series device has only 2 rear cameras. One is 50MP in resolution - however, the other is a potentially less useful 2MP shooter.
It does at least have a 6.7 inch FHD+ AMOLED display - although those specs are identical to those of the A3 Pro so far. Then again, it is described as having a 2.5GHz octa-core processor, which may or may not indicate a change from the up to 2.6GHz Dimensity 7050 as might be expected otherwise.
The "A4 Pro" (or possibly "A5 Pro" thanks to the brand's occasional tetraphobia) does get one of the brand's latest batteries, as indicated by its enlarged 5,840mAh capacity. It is slated to debut with 8 to 12GB of RAM and 256GB to 512GB of internal storage.
