With its almost Find X8-like looks in Rock Black, Sandstone Purple and Quartz White colorways, the A5 Pro might indeed garner fans on its December 24, 2024 launch. However, the Realme Neo 7 is not likely to be among them, as the upcoming Oppo device has stolen its "God of War" tagline to underpin its apparently advanced durability.
Its OEM has yet to specify just how water- and dust-resistant the new member of the A series will be, although it will be as high as possible in the realm of current smartphone build technology, according to the typically knowledgeable leaker Digital Chat Station.
That may or may not imply that the A5 Pro has the same IP68/69 ratings as some new flagship smartphones, the Find X8 Pro included.
In terms of imaging, the device is thought to have a 50MP main shooter, although its overall quality might not be at premium Oppo levels, judging from the comparatively minimal height of its camera hump alone.
It was also revealed to have a ~5,800mAh battery in its TENAA certification, a detail that might prompt Oppo to market it as a ~6,000mAh device on its upcoming debut.
The A5 Pro is also now tipped to come with a distinctly mid-tier Dimensity 7300 chipset to go with the 8 to 12GB of RAM and 256 to 512GB of internal storage already outlined for it on Oppo's website.
On that note, the A5 Pro will seemingly be exclusive to the Chinese market on its launch, although it could join the A3 Pro 5G for the global market on platforms such as Amazon.in thereafter.
