Realme has now confirmed that the upcoming Neo7 is the first of its line to lose its additional GT suffix as normal. However, the OEM also asserts that the smartphone will bounce back on a number of levels.
The Neo7 is hyped to be imbued with "god of war"-like durability, in terms of performance and endurance as well as build quality.
Realme has left most of the details involved to the imagination for now, although one of them is said to involve an upgrade to a massive 7,000mAh battery.
Unlike Oppo's rumored take on that technology, it is also now thought to support the same ultra-fast 120W charging as Realme's new GT 7 Pro (now available through Amazon in Europe).
The Neo7 might also face off against the new Vivo S20 Pro with the Dimensity 9300+ processor, believed to have propelled the upcoming Realme handset to an AnTuTu score of just over 2.4 million in a recent leak.
Those tidbits might be confirmed or denied during the Neo7 launch event now scheduled for December 11, 2024.
