Black Friday Deal | M4 Pro Apple MacBook Pros with 1600-nit mini-LED displays get first Black Friday deals for lowest-ever prices
Earlier this month, we reported on a banging Apple MacBook Air 13 Black Friday deal, which saw Amazon offer $200 off the lightweight laptop. Now, pretty much the entire Apple M4 MacBook line-up joins the M3 MacBook Air in the Black Friday fun, with the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros with M4 Pro SoC seeing the biggest discounts of the lot.
For the MacBook Pro Black Friday Deals, Amazon and Best Buy have $300 discounts on both versions of the M4 Pro MacBook Pros, resulting in the following record-low prices:
- M4 Pro MacBook Pro 14, 24 GB unified memory, 512 GB SSD: $1,749 (Amazon)
- M4 Pro MacBook Pro 14, 24 GB unified memory, 1 TB SSD: $2,099 (Amazon)
- M4 Pro MacBook Pro 16, 24 GB unified memory, 512 GB SSD: $2,199 (Amazon)
- M4 Pro MacBook Pro 16, 48 GB unified memory, 512 GB SSD: $2,599 (Amazon)
We've reviewed both versions of the M4 Pro MacBooks and found them to be rather impressively fast, much like many of Apple's latest MacBooks. Meanwhile, the displays were also highlights, thanks to the near-perfect colour reproduction and wide coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.
In our review of the M4 Pro MacBook Pro 14, we praised the Apple laptop's mini LED display for its high 620-nit SDR brightness, which was able to reach an incredible 1,706 nits in HDR mode. The MacBook Pro 16 is equally impressive, with the 120 Hz Liquid Retina mini LED display clocking a superb maximum SDR brightness of 1,063 nits with the ambient light sensor active. That brightness boosts to a maximum of 1,620 nits in HDR mode.
The M4 Pro SoC is also plenty efficient and powerful, easily scoring among the most powerful mobile CPUs we've tested so far, beating out even some desktop counterparts from the likes of Intel and AMD.
If you're after a similarly performant Windows laptop, check out the Black Friday deal on the RTX 4090-powered Razer Blade 18, or look into the discounted Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 9 for a more budget-friendly option.
