Realme Neo 7: Leak reveals 7000mAh battery and impressive AnTuTu score
Realme has confirmed that its “GT Neo" series will now operate independently by dropping the GT moniker. The GT series will feature high-end models from the company. While the Neo series will focus on performance-oriented mid-range smartphones.
Previously, we reported a new Realme smartphone receiving certification in China. It was expected to be the Realme GT Neo 7. However, it is likely that the company will call it the Realme Neo 7 instead.
A new leak from reputable tipster Digital Chat Station reveals the AnTuTu benchmark of the Neo 7. The AnTuTu benchmark reveals that the smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 9300 Plus processor. It is an overclocked version of the last-gen Dimensity 9300 chipset.
The tipster reveals that the smartphone scored over 2.4 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark. For comparison, the flagship OnePlus 13, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, scored 2.9 million points in the October 2024 AnTuTu flagship performance ranking. Therefore, a score of over 2.4 million points for a mid-range device is quite impressive.
Additionally, the leak reveals that the smartphone will feature a large 7000mAh battery. It is likely that the company will utilize the new high-density silicon anode battery technology to achieve the large battery capacity. To recall, the Realme GT Neo 6 was released in May with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and a 5500mAh battery.
Currently, the exact release date of the smartphone is not revealed. However, the official poster confirms that the Realme Neo 7 will be launched in December.
