TCL Projector A1 debuts with up to 120-inch on-the-go Google TV-powered entertainment
TCL might be best known for its huge-screen TVs; however, it asserts that its new Projector A1 packs its display expertise into a less home theater-bound package.
The new projector supports FHD rather than 4K, but is rated to produce an image of up to 120 inches in diagonal length in a plug-and-play manner. It also packs its own Dolby Audio speakers, albeit ones with a combined power of 16W.
TCL backs the A1 to beam its Google TV-powered content in "true-to-life colors and sharp image quality", although its brightness is set at 350 ANSI lumens at most, compared to up to 450 in rivals such as the JMGO PicoFlix and Dangbei N2.
The Projector A1 also integrates a Versagrip handle made of aluminum (like that of the LG CineBeam Q HU710PB) that can slide through the front of its housing to become a stand. It also features Light Sync ambient RGB lighting along its side.
The TCL Projector A1 is available from now via channels such as Amazon for $499.99.
