Xiaomi teases new Mijia Air Conditioner Pro with HyperOS
Xiaomi has teased the new Mijia Air Conditioner Pro in China. In a couple of posts on social media platform Weibo, the company announced that the new smart home product would launch later this month.
The Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner is described as delivering ‘hurricane power’, for wider coverage of your room and an upgraded larger volume of airflow. To illustrate this further, the company suggests that the vertical 3 hp model can start to cool your home in three minutes. The smart home device has a first-class energy efficiency rating in China and is marketed with intelligent power saving features. This is a HyperOS Connect product for integration with the Xiaomi smart home ecosystem, and app-based or voice controls. Plus, the images reveal that there is a touch control panel on one side and a built-in display showing temperature and mode.
Xiaomi's Mijia Air Conditioner Pro will debut at the brand’s Redmi K80 series launch conference on November 27th. It is unclear when the smart home device will go on sale in China and at what price. Whether or not the product will eventually arrive in other markets like Europe also remains to be seen. Here, Xiaomi already offers products like the Mi Smart Standing Fan, currently €79.99 at Amazon.
