New Roborock Qrevo Edge powerful robot vacuum could launch soon
The Roborock Qrevo Edge robot vacuum and mop could launch in Europe this year. The model was unveiled at IFA 2024 alongside the Qrevo Curv and Qrevo Slim. However, while these two products have already launched, the Qrevo has yet to be released.
The Qrevo Edge is currently listed on the European website Robocleaners, with the page stating that it is out of stock until at least November 28th. Notebookcheck has spoken to the retailer, and it indicated that there are delays with the product's release. Despite these issues, the company suggested that the new robot vacuum would likely arrive before the end of the year.
Roborock's Qrevo Edge has identical features to the Qrevo Curv, including up to 18,500Pa suction power, making it one of the most powerful robot vacuums on the market. Other tools include the AdaptiLift Chassis to climb over taller obstacles, the new DuoDivide brush with anti-tangle technology and the FlexiArm Side Brush. The only difference is that the Edge has a typical rectangular docking station rather than the dome-shaped dock of the Curv. On docking, the robot cleans itself, automatically completing tasks like emptying the onboard dustbin and washing the mop with 75°C (~167°F) hot water.
The Edge is expected to have the same $1,599.99/€1,499.99 RRP as the Curv, though this model is currently discounted to €1,099.00 at Amazon. The exact date of the Roborock Qrevo Edge robot vacuum and mop's European release date remains unknown. A product page for the Qrevo Edge has also appeared on the brand's US website, though there is no indication of when it will be available in this region.
