The Anker eufy Security Floodlight Cam E30 has been officially launched in the US. Images and some details of the product were leaked in early November. As it was already known, the smart home device is suitable for outdoor use, with an IP65 dust and water resistance rating. The company also suggests that it will operate in temperatures ranging from -20 to 50°C (-4 to 122°F).
The Floodlight Cam E30 has a single camera with a 2K HD resolution that can pan up to 360° horizontally and tilt up to 70° vertically, allowing you to surveil a wide area of your property. Smart features include AI detection of humans and vehicles, with the camera automatically panning to track their movement. Plus, the camera can detect motion outside the current field of view and intelligently rotate to capture the event. Above the camera are two motion-activated floodlights, offering up to 2,000 lumens brightness at a color temperature of 4,000K.
There is a 105dB siren to deter intruders, and you can set custom voice and light alerts. Other features include two-way visitor communication, a Power Amplifier to enhance Wi-Fi signal strength, and support for up to 128GB microSD cards. You can now buy the eufy Floodlight Cam E30 at the brand’s online store or Amazon storefront for $149.99. The company notes that, due to high demand, orders placed after November 12th will be shipped from December 15th. It is unclear whether or when this security camera could launch in other regions like Europe.
