Xiaomi has launched the Smart Home Screen Mini in China. The compact device can sit on a table, desk or shelf in your home, providing a range of smart home controls. Connected products are listed on a customizable central page, allowing you to prioritize your most frequently used items.
The Smart Home Screen Mini can also be connected to smart cameras and video doorbells, showing the video livestream when they are triggered. Other features include support for Xiao AI voice commands and over 40 desktop wallpapers, with a photo gallery option. With Xiaomi HyperOS, the device supports Bluetooth 5.1 and dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi connectivity and is powered via USB-C. The gadget measures 113 x 78 x 54 mm (~4.4 x 3.1 x 2.1 inches), making it smaller than the Amazon Echo Show 5 (3rd Gen) (curr. $49.99 at Amazon), which measures 147 x 82 x 91 mm (~5.8 x 3.2 x 3.6 inches).
The Xiaomi Smart Home Screen Mini is now available in China for the discounted price of CNY 249 (~$35); the device is listed with an RRP of CNY 269 (~$38). Xiaomi has yet to announce plans to roll out the smart home product to other markets like the EU, where you can buy older products like the Xiaomi Smart Home Hub 2.
