New Xiaomi Mijia Vertical Study Lamp Pro with HyperOS arrives
The Xiaomi Mijia Vertical Study Lamp Pro has arrived in China. The smart home product is designed for use in a work or study space, with a tall 2,000 (~78.7 inches) stand and a long 1.05m (~41.3 inches) light source, outputting light from both sides.
The Mijia Vertical Study Lamp Pro has a four-core full spectrum LED light source that is said to produce natural-looking light with a Ra98 color rendering index. The peak brightness level is 17,800 lumens, with up to 14,800 lumens from the upper light source and 3,000 lumens from the lower. Smart features include adaptive dimming, where the lamp’s brightness is intelligently adjusted to match the room’s ambient lighting. Plus, a built-in 24 GHz radar can be used to turn the light on when motion is detected.
The HyperOS lamp’s settings can be adjusted via a built-in touch control sensor, with the accompanying remote, in the Mijia app or with Xiao AI voice commands. You can buy the Xiaomi Mijia Vertical Study Lamp Pro in China for the discounted CNY 4,799 (~$674). It is expected to retail for 4,999 (~$702) in the future. It is unclear whether or when this product could launch in Europe, where the company already sells smart home products like the Mi Motion-Activated Night Light (curr. €16.99 at Amazon).
