New Xiaomi S Pro Mini-LED TV series debuts with up to 3,200 nits peak brightness rating

Xiaomi has made the 2025 S Pro Mini-LED TV series official, and the new TVs will be available to purchase from October 29 in China. The new lineup has four models, with a starting price of 4,599 yuan (about $646).

Among the four, three have a peak brightness rating of 3,200 nits, which is reasonably high compared to competitors like the Hisense U7 (65U7N curr. $797.99 on Amazon). Only the 100-inch model has a peak brightness rating of 3,000 nits.

The company also highlights that the S Pro Mini-LED TV series can deliver rich contrast thanks to having a comparatively higher number of backlight zones. For example, the 100-inch model has 3,864 partitions. Xiaomi's Master Image Quality Engine 2.0 is said to enhance the image quality even further.

On that note, all the models within the 2025 Xiaomi S Pro Mini-LED TV lineup pack the XM9000 chip. This chipset is customized to offer high visual clarity and make the right brightness adjustments to different sections of the picture to deliver an immersive viewing experience.

Another big highlight of the 2025 lineup is support for a high refresh rate mode. Xiaomi says that the new S Pro lineup can go up to 240 Hz when the gaming mode is enabled. The default 144 Hz rate at 4K is also said to be more than good enough for competitive gaming.

Other highlights of the 2025 S Pro Mini-LED series include Xiaomi HyperOS, 2.1-channel Dolby Atmos sound, and WiFi 6. Xiaomi has yet to share global availability and pricing details, but it did bring the 2025 non-Pro S lineup outside the Chinese market.
