New Xiaomi Redmi Projector 3 Pro with ToF sensor arrives

Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Projector 3 Pro in China. The model has a 1080p resolution and can throw images from 45 to 120 inches (~114 to 305 cm) wide with a 1.25:1 throw ratio.

According to the product listing, the LCD light source delivers up to 470 CVIA lumens brightness; an equivalent measurement for an internationally recognised standard like ISO lumens has not been provided. A time-of-flight sensor is used to adjust the image with autofocus, screen fit, obstacle avoidance and keystone correction tools. Other features include HyperOS, wireless screencasting via dual-band Wi-Fi and support for the Xiaomi app or voice commands. Plus, this model has two built-in 6W speakers and can act as a Bluetooth speaker. Ports on the device include HDMI, USB-A and a 3.5mm jack.

The Xiaomi Redmi Projector 3 Pro is now available in China for the discounted price of CNY 1,499 (~$211), though it is expected to retail for CNY 1,699 (~$240) in the near future. It is unclear whether or when this product could reach markets like Europe, where the company sells other models like the Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro.
