Samsung's One UI for TV begins rolling out ahead of schedule
Samsung announced at its annual developer conference that it plans to unify the software for all of its products under the One UI umbrella. The unification was supposed to happen in 2025, but in what can be termed a surprise, Samsung has pushed a new update that brings One UI to some of its smart TVs.
The update is rolling out to Samsung's 2023 smart TVs including the S90C OLED TV according to SamMobile. The update arrives as One UI but is based on Tizen 8.0, an upgrade over Tizen 7.0 that powered the TV before.

According to the source, the One UI update brings a new user interface, UI improvements, new Game Bar features and more. Some of these UI changes mirror that of Samsung's Galaxy smartphones such as app icons for Bixby, Gallery, Samsung Internet, and SmartThings and some similar animation styles.
The changelog also mentions that owners of a supported Galaxy Watch like the Galaxy Watch FE (curr. available on Amazon for $179) can monitor real-time workout data on their TVs, while the on-screen keypad has gained support for more languages.
Prior to Samsung's announcement to unify the software for its products, it revealed that it plans to provide up to seven years of software support for its smart TVs, matching the same years of support for its flagship smartphones.
