Samsung Galaxy AI in One UI 7 beta reportedly adds a nifty Apple Intelligence feature
Samsung confirmed the stable version of One UI 7 will be available with the launch of the Galaxy S25 series, but the beta is expected sometime in November. Ahead of the official beta rollout, a known leaker @chunvn8888 claims that the version ending with "XJW" has one of the nifty Apple Intelligence features: notification summaries.
It's allegedly part of Galaxy AI in the One UI 7 beta, reportedly called "AI notification." At the core, the feature in Apple Intelligence can summarize the information from notifications coming from a particular app, making it easier to catch up. It can be enabled for any app, and it's regarded as one of the best AI-powered features available on Apple devices. The feature in Galaxy AI could work similarly.
Worth noting that @chunvn8888 says support for the feature would initially be exclusive to the Korean language. However, later versions of One UI 7 beta may bring support for English, and support for more languages could be added before the update reaches the stable version.
As for compatibility, @chunvn8888 notes that the notification summary feature of Galaxy AI may not be available on mid-range devices. It's also unclear whether AI notification will be available on older flagships like the Galaxy S22 (128 S24 curr. $619.99 on Amazon).
