Deal | HP Envy 14 convertible with Ryzen 7 8840HS drops back to record-low price at Best Buy
The HP Envy 14 was among the first AMD Hawk Point-equipped laptops to come to market earlier this year, and now it's once again discounted to $599.99 at Best Buy. At that price, buyers will receive a 14-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1,920 × 1,200 and a peak brightness of 300 nits. However, color performance is quite limited, with the display covering just 62.5% of the sRGB color space.
Under the hood, there's an AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor with eight Zen 4 cores and Radeon 780M integrated graphics, joined by 16 GB of LPDDR5-6400 memory and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Additionally, the Envy 14's metal body weighs 3.08 lbs (1.4 kg) and houses a 59 Wh battery that can charge at up to 65 W thanks to the included USB-C charger.
In terms of connectivity, the convertible sports a couple of 10 Gbps USB-C ports (DisplayPort 1.4a, Power Delivery), two 10 Gbps USB-A, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5 mm combo audio jack. A wireless card supporting Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 is also included, as well as a 5-megapixel webcam with IR and a built-in privacy shutter.
