HP unveils new Intel i7-powered Omen 35L gaming desktop
HP has expanded its Omen gaming desktop line-up by launching a new Omen 35L gaming desktop. HP’s new gaming desktop is now available in India, starting at Rs 126,360 (roughly $1,497). Unlike other gaming desktops which come with laptop-grade CPUs such as Legion 7000K, the Omen 35L comes with a proper desktop-grade processor.
More specifically, the Omen 35L features an Intel Core i7-14700F and Core i5-14400F processor. However, there’s no AMD option available in this rig. HP offers AMD Ryzen 7000 series options in its Omen 40L/45L gaming desktops. HP paired the high-end processors with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card with dedicated 8GB VRAM.
You’ll get 16GB Kingston Fury DDR5-4400 MHz RAM with RGB heatsinks and 1TB PCle Gen 4 NVMe M.2 SSD. The Omen 35L supports up to 128GB of DDR5 RAM. Regarding cooling, the desktop has two 140mm ARGB fans and a 240mm liquid cooling system. One can effortlessly customize RGB lighting, monitor performance, and overclock components via HP’s Omen Gaming Hub software.
The Omen 35L offers plenty of ports, including a DisplayPort 1.4, 2x USB 2.0, 2x USB Type A, a USB Type C port with HP sleep and charge, HDMI 2.1, and WiFi 6E and Bluetooth v5.3 connectivity. In terms of dimensions, the tower measures 21 x 40.8 x 41 cm and weighs 14.5kg (31.9lbs). HP offers a single black metal color option.
