The Galaxy A55 5G (now available for just under $297 on Amazon) is thought to become supplanted by a newer smartphone that might have the same standard Samsung triple rear camera look with a flat display and possibly color-matched flat edges.
However, the Galaxy A56 5G is also tipped to debut with the same 45W Super Fast Charging spec as the Galaxy S24 Ultra (still the OEM's highest-end Android smartphone at the end of 2024). It might also have 8GB of RAM, according to a recent Geekbench leak.
The device has also now appeared on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG) website. It has been certified as the SM-A566B (thereby matching the device seen on Geekbench), suggesting that it is destined for markets such as India, and also as the SM-A566E, hinting that it might also be available elsewhere.
The A56 is also thought to launch with One UI 7 based on Android 15 and the Exynos 1580 processor.
