Public One UI 7 beta availability confirmed by Samsung
At the last Samsung Developer Conference, the company announced that the One UI 7 update will launch alongside the Galaxy S25 series early next year. At the event, Samsung said that the beta program would roll out at the end of this year, but the official blog post indicated that it would only be available to developers.
A Samsung One UI team member has now cleared up the concerns about public beta availability. In the Community forum, the company official responded to a query by saying that the beta won't be limited to the developers. Instead, there will be a public release, but the timeline hasn't been confirmed yet.
The Samsung official added that users would be notified about the public One UI 7 beta release through the Members app. This response from the team member suggests that the beta program will likely be available for the developers at the end of this year, while the public beta release will follow in early next year, possibly right before the stable launch.
For those who missed it, Samsung has already given a hint about what to expect from the One UI 7 update. At the SDC24 keynote, the company said that there will be a fresh new look with a refined interface. The Android 15-based update will also offer a "different level" of customization. Moreover, there will be new Galaxy AI features.
