Vivo X200 Standard Edition tipped to launch with larger battery than closest rival

The "Standard Edition" of the X200 and plain Find X8 might find themselves pitted against each other when they launch, as they might be the most comparable variants from the next flagship smartphone line-ups from Vivo and OPPO respectively.

Nevertheless, the X200 is now projected to have the edge in terms of typical battery capacity: 5,800mAh compared to a predicted 5,700mAh in the X8, according to the leaker Experience more.

The former might also have a larger display at ~6.6 inches compared to ~6.5 inches in the latter - although OPPO might aim for compact appeal with its upcoming vanilla flagship.

The X200 is also said to be the fastest-charging member of the Vivo X200 line-up with a new 90W spec despite being the Standard Edition, whereas the X8 might be saddled with 80W SuperVOOC technology.

Then again, it might also have OPPO's new 50W magnetic wireless charging, while the Standard X200 goes without a similar feature in its latest leak.

The 2 devices are also thought to be of a very similar construction, which, of course, is backed to contain Dimensity 9400 power. Accordingly, it will be interesting to see which one would win this apparently well-balanced match later in 2024.
