Oppo Find X8 design looks like a cross between Apple iPhone 16 Pro and OnePlus Open in early images
Historically, Oppo has refreshed its flagship 'Find X' series in late winter or early spring, save for the original Find X that it announced in June 2018. To that end, the Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra are barely more than six months old at this point. However, the slew of recent Find X8-related leaks suggests that Oppo is considering an autumn refresh for its flagship smartphone series.
For instance, Oppo's product manager compared the Find X8 against Apple's iPhone 16 Pro yesterday in a post on Weibo. Strictly speaking, the Find X8 remains unofficial. Nonetheless, Zhou Yibao showcased the device's front, which appears to have slimmer bezels than the iPhone 16 Pro but with a shallower corner radius than Apple's latest compact flagship.
Additionally, the Find X8's rear design has now leaked online too. Contrary to previous rumours, the Find X8 does not feature an octagonal camera housing. Instead, Oppo has retained the circular design it used in the Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra, albeit while rearranging the camera sensors between generations. As a result, the triple-camera setup resembles the Find N3 thanks to the centred Hasselblad logo, and by extension, the OnePlus Open (curr. $1,699.99 on Amazon) too.
