Samsung Galaxy S24 FE becomes official with attractive launch promo
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE was accidentally listed on the official US store. This listing, which was later taken offline, revealed all the core details of the slightly affordable flagship phone. Now, the company has formally launched the device, and it's officially joining the three phones that were already in the current series.
This new Galaxy phone stands as a slightly cheaper option than the Galaxy S24 Plus. Both these two smartphones come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. This also makes the new phone larger than the S23 FE, which features a 6.4-inch screen.
However, unlike the predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will not be available with a Snapdragon SoC. More specifically, the new smartphone comes equipped with the Exynos 2400e, which is believed to be a slightly underclocked variant of the Exynos 2400.
Samsung paired this new Exynos chip with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. As for the cameras, they are the same as the Galaxy S23 FE. That means the primary sensor is still a 50 MP unit with f/1.8 aperture. The ultra-wide and telephoto are also the same, and they are 12 MP and 8 MP sensors, respectively. On the front, there's a 10 MP selfie camera.
Other highlights of the new Samsung Galaxy S24 FE include Galaxy AI features, seven years of promised software upgrades, 4,700 mAh battery, and 25W wired charging. Pricing-wise, the phone starts at $650 in the US and €749, and there's an attractive launch promo in place. The company will offer a free Galaxy Watch FE (40 mm curr. $179.99 on Amazon) to those who order the device before October 31, 2025.
