V10: Projector with WiFi and Bluetooth for less than $100
Blitzwolf is offering a new, low-cost projector, which accordingly also comes with various limitations. In practice, the biggest limitation is probably the low brightness. Although a brightness of 7,000 lumens is specified, this figure cannot be compared with ANSI lumens, and it should only be used in well-darkened rooms. The V10 is said to be able to display a projection size of between 40 and 150 inches, and the projection ratio is 1.25:1, which means that a sizable distance between the screen and projector is required. The resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 should give little cause for criticism, as Full HD material can be displayed without any loss in quality.
Keystone correction must be done manually, which means more effort during setup. The focus is adjusted electronically. According to the manufacturer, image content can be transmitted wirelessly from a smartphone or other device, for which a WiFi connection is supported on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Speakers are available and the V10 supports Bluetooth connection in two directions - the projector can either output audio signals to a soundbar, or function as a Bluetooth speaker itself. At 180 x 180 x 75 millimeters and weighing one kilogram, the projector is also very much portable.
The Blitzwolf V10 is available for direct import at a price of $94. Import duties are included in the price and, as usual, users should expect long shipping times.
