Valerion VisionMaster Max and VisionMaster Pro 2 portable 4K projectors go live on Kickstarter
Valerion has launched the VisionMaster Max and VisionMaster Pro 2 on Kickstarter. Both of them are enjoying "Super Early Bird" discounts as well. With these deals in place, you can back the Max at $2,199, which is 45% less than the $3,999 MSRP.
As for the VisionMaster Pro 2, it's available at $2,099 on the Kickstarter campaign, which is a 40% discount from its regular price tag of $3,499. Valerion aims to deliver the Pro 2 early orders in December 2024 and the Max in May 2025.
When it comes to the projectors themselves, the VisionMaster Pro 2 and the Max share a lot of common specs. They both come with an RGB triple laser as the light source, which features a brightness rating of 3000 ISO lumen. However, the OpticFlex Lens System of the Max is a little more advanced than the Pro 2.
More specifically, the VisionMaster Max has dynamic IRIS, and the lens can shift vertically. The former allows fine-tuning of the projected image, while the latter will let you align the image without needing to reposition the projector. These are not available on the VisionMaster Pro 2.
Besides that, the other specs match between the two. That means both the VisionMaster Max and Pro 2 have a maximum projection size of 300 inches. They can also project images at up to 4K 60 Hz, and with the gaming mode enabled, you can get 1080p projection at 240 Hz with only 4 ms input lag (240 Hz Acer Nitro gaming monitor curr. $159.99 on Amazon).
Other notable features of these two portable projectors include two built-in speakers, a viewing contrast of 15000:1, MT9618 SoC with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, and Google TV. You can learn more about the Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2 and VisionMaster Max from the official website.
