BenQ GP520 laser projector takes on colorful walls and bright rooms
The BenQ GP520 is said to be more convenient than most of its competitors - not only can the projector correct the perspective and orientation so that the image is correctly projected onto the wall, but the GP520 is even said to compensate for ambient light and wall color, even if the image is projected onto a wall that is not white.
According to BenQ, this works for at least six popular wall colors, including blue. With 2,600 ANSI lumens, the projector offers sufficient brightness during day use and convincing HDR images at night. With that said, BenQ supports the HDR10+ standard, not Dolby Vision. The Rec709 color space can be displayed at 98 percent, DCI-P3 at 81 percent. The projector supports full 4K resolution, as well as MEMC for a smoother display of movements.

Google TV guarantees that the most important streaming apps are available, while the two HDMI 2.1 inputs and support for HDMI Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) should ensure perfect compatibility with consoles such as the Sony PlayStation 5 (approx. US$455 on Amazon). The BenQ GP520 has 2 x 12 watt stereo speakers and external speakers can be connected via HDMI eARC.
