Lenovo has unveiled the Xiaoxin 100GT smart projector, which is now available in China. The model is similar to the older Xiaoxin 100S though it has a higher maximum brightness level. Features include a PTZ stand, built-in speakers and tools like autofocus and automatic keystone correction.

The Lenovo Xiaoxin 100GT Smart Projector has been launched in China. This is a 1080p model using LCD display technology with a native 60Hz refresh rate, a 2,500:1 contrast ratio and support for HDR10+. You can use the projector to cast images up to 100 inches wide with a 1.25:1 throw ratio.

The 100GT has many similarities to the 100S, launched in 2023, but it is said to be brightner. While the older device produces up to 430 CVIA lumens brightness, the Crystal X sealed light engine of the 100GT is said to deliver up to 500 CVIA lumens brightness. According to Lenovo, 500 CVIA lumens is approximately 1,400 ANSI lumens. Like the 100S, the 100GT has a 360° PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) gimbal stand, making it easy to adjust the projection angle and cast images on a screen, wall or ceiling. Tools for autofocus, automatic keystone correction, screen alignment and obstacle avoidance help you to quickly perfect the picture.

The projector runs on Lenovo ZUI OS/Android 9.0, with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0 and wireless screencasting abilities. Plus, you can remotely control the model via an app or with voice commands. There are also two built-in 5W speakers, and you can physically connect devices via ports like HDMI, USB-A and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Lenovo Xiaoxin 100GT Smart Projector retails in China for CNY 1,099 (~$157). By comparison, the Xiaoxin 100S retails for CNY 999 (~$142). It seems unlikely that this model will launch in markets like North America or Europe, as the company does not officially sell home theater projectors in these regions at the time of writing.
