Philips NeoPix 750 new cheaper smart projector revealed
The Philips NeoPix 750 smart home projector has arrived in Europe. Models in the NeoPix range are significantly cheaper than Screeneo projectors like the UL5, with a more basic feature set to match the price. The model has a 1080p native resolution with LCD display technology and an LED light source expected to run for up to 30,000 hours.
The NeoPix 750 is said to deliver up to 700 lumens color brightness, measured using the international IDMS 15.4 standard. The projector has a 1.65:1 throw ratio and can throw images up to 120 inches (~305 cm) wide; the maximum image would be produced when the device is placed 144 inches (~366 cm) away from the screen or wall. You can perfect the image with keystone, 4-corner correction and digital zoom tools. Plus, the device runs on Android with LuminOS, with apps such as Apple TV, Disney+ and Prime Video.
Other features include two built-in 7W speakers, dual-band 5GHz/2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, and a range of ports like HDMI, USB-C and USB-A. The Philips NeoPix 750 smart home projector is available at Amazon in countries such as the Netherlands, France and Italy for €399. The model is also expected to launch in the UK at some point in September for £349.
