Husqvarna reveals Automower 535 AWD EPOS as new wireless model
Husqvarna has announced the Automower 535 AWD EPOS, a new all-wheel drive robotic lawn mower. The commercial model follows on from the Automower 535 AWD, with improvements such as wireless navigation, removing the hassle of laying a physical boundary wire.
Instead, the new Automower 535 AWD uses EPOS (Exact Positioning Operating System) technology with the ability to set wireless mowing zones. There is also the option to install a boundary wire, should you wish. The robot is designed to cover areas measuring up to 6,000 m² (~64,583 ft²) across a 48-hour period. Husqvarna also says it has improved the way slopes are mowed for larger areas with hills like golf courses; the model can handle slopes of up to 70%.
The robot mower can be remotely controlled via an accompanying app, and an over-the-air update, arriving in Q2 2025, will bring a range of mowing patterns. The Husqvarna Automower 535 AWD EPOS robot lawn mower will launch in Europe towards the end of February 2025. The pricing has yet to be announced; as an indication, the older 535 AWD retails for £5,359/€5,499.
