Eufy Video Doorbell C31 with 2K resolution and video call feature now available
The Eufy Video Doorbell C31 from Anker is now available in countries worldwide. Rumors about the smart home product began earlier this year when images of this model and the Video Doorbell C30 leaked on Reddit.
The Video Doorbell C31 offers 2K resolution video with a 4:3 aspect ratio. A built-in microphone and speaker allow you to speak to visitors or ask them to leave a voice message. Plus, ringing the doorbell can trigger a video call to your smartphone; this feature will be available to users who pair the device with HomeBase S380 and is expected to roll out in late November. An up to 128GB microSD card stores footage locally, or when paired with the HomeBase S380 or S280 you can get up to 16TB expandable storage. The HomeBase also brings support for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands. Plus, the doorbell works with the eufy Minibase Chime and Amazon Alexa devices for additional alerts when you are at home.
The doorbell can be hardwired for 24/7 use, or you can choose to power the device via the removable and rechargeable 6,500mAh battery pack. You can buy the Anker Eufy Video Doorbell C31 in the US, the UK and EU countries like France for $99.99/£89.99/€119.99. It is unclear when the Video Doorbell C30, a model with similar features but a 16:9 aspect ratio and a smaller 5,000mAh battery, will launch.
