Wyze's latest doorbell camera tries to help deter package theft by adding a second camera that points downwards towards your packages. There are other cool features too including a removable battery that can last up to six months.

Wyze has announced a new doorbell camera that has not one but two cameras. The two cameras on the Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell provide different views for a full coverage of your doorstep. The top camera, which has facial recognition, focuses on people, while the bottom camera points downwards at the doorstep, so you can keep an eye on your packages.

While the first camera will alert you when someone is at the door and even let you know who it is with facial recognition, the second camera has package detection, so you get alerted when there's a package at the door.

Wyze says the Duo Cam Doorbell also has pet detection and vehicle detection. With the latter, you can keep an eye on delivery drivers when they park in front of your house to drop a package. The doorbell camera also has two-way audio, allowing you to talk to a guest at the door or the delivery person.

The top camera has a 2K resolution and a 132 x 100° field of view while the bottom camera has a 1080p resolution and 121 x 60° field of view. Both have support for color night vision. There's a microSD card slot (256GB max.) for local storage if you prefer that to cloud storage. Another feature is support for Wyze's Wi-Fi Chime (included in the box), so you can hear the alerts anywhere you place the chime in your home

The Duo Cam Doorbell is pretty easy to install. It doesn't need hard-wiring as it comes with a removable battery pack. However, there's the option for a wired connection too. You can choose to mount it with screws or attach it to your door with the included 3M adhesive strips. Wyze also includes a 30° corner kit in the box.

The device has an IP65 dust and water resistance rating and the included 6,200mAh battery can last up to 6 months on a single charge. The siren is 90dB loud and there's motion warning that alerts guests that they are being recorded. The Duo Cam Doorbell has dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, support for Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT.

Wyze has begun selling the Duo Cam Doorbell on its online store for $89.98. It is also available to buy on Amazon for $89.99.
