Realme GT7 Pro launch date confirmed alongside cutting-edge OLED display teaser
Apple touts the iPhone 16 Pro Max' Super Retina XDR display as the best in the industry, with features such as True Tone and specs such as a variable 1-120Hz refresh rate and an HDR brightness rating of 1,600 nits.
The Realme GT7 Pro is now tipped to beat it with an equivalent value of no less than 2,000 nits - the highest in the industry, according to leaked slides posted by prodigious tipster Digital Chat Station.
The upcoming OnePlus 13 rival is also now said to achieve 120% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, feature "hardware-level full-brightness" DC dimming and achieve the most "natural" levels of saturation on a Samsung display to date with cutting-edge "depolarization" technology.
Realme will apparently do this with Eco² OLED Plus from Samsung - a panel type also seen in the Galaxy Z Fold4. However, it has apparently been optimized for the GT7 Pro's new flat screen to achieve its iPhone-baiting specs.
The Eco² "Sky Screen" has also been officially revealed to be quad-curved for potentially slim, consistent bezels.
Accordingly, Digital Chat Station hints that the GT7 Pro will be able to take on other ~$1,000 devices, even Samsung's own Galaxy S24 Ultra (available now from Amazon) with its Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered, ultrasonic fingerprint-reading display - now officially slated to be unleashed on November 4, 2024 in China.
