The iQOO 13 is said to beat other upcoming next-gen Android flagships such as the OnePlus 13 in terms of performance and screen quality. Further tidbits about its display and its supposedly advanced specs have allegedly leaked out, alongside multiple candid photos purporting to confirm others concerning the smartphone's appearance.

The OnePlus 13 and its alleged namesake from iQOO are both projected to launch as cutting-edge flagship smartphones with 2K displays from BOE - however, the latter might have the edge in various ways.

OnePlus' "X2" display is  is thought to be 120Hz compared to 144Hz in iQOO's newer "Q10" panel - which also goes by the code-name Everest, apparently.

That new iQOO 13 tip comes courtesy of not 1 but 3 Weibo-based leakers: WHYLAB, Inspiration Institute and Novice Evaluation.

The latter also now asserts that the device will come with the latest in eye-protection technology for OLED smartphones and improved 2,592Hz PWM dimming with "+1-class" DC dimming to boot.

That might not even be the extent of the iQOO 13's display upgrades, with further "Easter egg" features to come, according to Novice Evaluation

All 3 leakers also have their own hands-on 13 photos to share, all of which show the same flattened smartphone of markedly slim bezels (which seem to be of constant width all around the screen).

Some also show the device's metallic mid-frame, which might indeed have slimmed down compared to that of the 12.

Display quality is just 1 area in which the iQOO 13 is predicted to beat the OnePlus 13. Now, it is also backed to be first to make it onto the international market with an Indian launch reportedly set for December 3, 2024.
