As the OLED display market is rapidly picking up pace, AOC clearly doesn't want to be left behind. This is apparent by the company's latest launch on its Chinese website — the AG276QKD. It's a 26.5-inch OLED QHD gaming monitor, aimed at users seeking class-leading refresh rate and peak visual performance, if we go by the specs alone.
The display boasts a 480Hz refresh rate and an ultra-fast 0.03ms grayscale response time. It supports a native resolution of 2560×1440 and comes with OLED tech, offering over 10 million self-luminous pixels for vibrant color reproduction and deeper blacks. At 100% APL (full white screen), the brightness is 275 nits, while at 25% APL, it's 450 nits. For HDR content at 1.5% APL, the brightness peaks at 1300 nits.
One standout feature is the 1,500,000:1 static contrast ratio, which should retain sharp detail in both light and dark scenes. The monitor supports DCI-P3 color gamut coverage at 98.5%, with factory calibration achieving a color accuracy of ΔE<2 for precise color representation. Its hardware-based low blue light technology reduces harmful blue light emissions, while TÜV Rheinland Flicker-Free certification should make it easy on the eyes during extended viewing sessions.
Certified with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, the AG276QKD offers a wide dynamic range. AGLR anti-glare and low-reflection technology should further add to the viewing comfort in various lighting conditions. The monitor also has OLED Care tech, claiming to prevent burn-in — a common issue with OLED panels.
In terms of connectivity, the monitor comes with multiple ports, including HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. It also supports Picture-by-Picture (PBP) and Picture-in-Picture (PIP) modes, allowing for dual-screen functionality. The AG276QKD offers height adjustment, tilt, and rotation for comfortable long-term use. The monitor definitely doesn't compromise on style, as evident by the cool asymmetrical polygon base and ultra-slim bezels.
With features like customizable RGB lighting and a quick-release bracket, this monitor seems well-suited for both high-end gaming and professional use. Pricing info isn't available yet, but we can expect the company to update the product page soon enough.
