Realme is set to launch the GT 7 Pro smartphone in China. Ahead of the launch, the smartphone's price has leaked, suggesting a price hike.

Realme GT 7 Pro is an upcoming high-end smartphone scheduled to launch on November 4 in China. Previously, the company revealed many key details about the smartphone. Though, the details on pricing are not yet disclosed officially. Thanks to a new leak, we have a potential starting price for the smartphone.

The leak comes from an online retailer (via GSMArena) revealing that the Realme GT 7 Pro will reportedly have a starting price of CNY 3,999 which translates to $560 or €520. For comparison, last year’s Realme GT 6 Pro started at CNY 3,399 translating to $476 or €441, hence the Realme GT 7 Pro seems to bring a big price jump from its predecessor.

Previously, Xiaomi confirmed that the upcoming Xiaomi 15 series will have a price increase. Xiaomi has cited R&D and the increasing cost of the phone components for the price increase.

For the Realme GT 7 Pro, the reason for the price jump could be similar; the higher cost of phone components especially the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset which brings a lot more performance than its predecessor but with an increased cost.

The Realme GT 7 Pro has been confirmed to feature Samsung's Eco² OLED Plus display. Additionally, it is expected to have a big 6,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. More details about the device will be known once the phone launches in China on November 4.
