Realme reveals special edition of GT7 Pro ahead of November launch

Realme has officially announced the launch date of its first Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphone, the GT7 Pro. The new flagship phone will be making its official debut in China on November 4, a little later than the Xiaomi 15 lineup and the OnePlus 13.

The company previously shared display details of the Realme GT7 Pro. It will come with an Eco² Sky Screen with quad micro-curved bezels, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and full DC dimming support. The LTPO display will also sport 120% DCI-P3 coverage, a peak brightness rating of 2,000 nits, Dolby Vision support, and eye protection features.

Realme has now showcased the special edition of the smartphone. Called "Mars Exploration Edition," this special edition of Realme GT7 Pro uses a "multi-layer hot forging AG process." The back is said to form a complex curve shape during the forging process, which eventually presents a Mars surface-like texture.

The shared images also show some of the other design elements of the GT7 Pro. They reveal that this Snapdragon 8 Elite phone will feature a triple camera setup on the back with a square-ish camera island. There's "HyperImage+" branding on the back, which is the company's AI-enhanced camera system.

Although not confirmed by Realme yet, among the three rear cameras, the primary sensor will reportedly be a 50 MP sensor. It's rumored to be paired with a 50 MP telephoto and 8 MP ultrawide. Past reports have also hinted that the GT7 Pro will feature a 6,500 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support (140W Anker 737 power bank curr. $109.99 on Amazon). Pricing and availability details of the phone are yet to be confirmed, but the company is expected share more information in the coming days.
