iQoo has officially revealed a good number of aspects of its upcoming gaming smartphone, the iQoo 13. It will be among the first phones with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, Qualcomm's new 3 nm phone chipset with Oryon cores, and the Chinese smartphone company says that the SoC can offer an impressive score in AnTuTu.
According to one of the recent teaser posts, the new flagship phone scores 3,159,448 points in the benchmark. This is the highest AnTuTu benchmark score of the Snapdragon 8 Elite so far, and with that, iQoo wants to highlight how well the phone is tuned for performance.
Besides revealing the AnTuTu benchmark score, iQoo has shared the gaming features of the upcoming flagship phone. The iQoo 13 pairs the Snapdragon 8 Elite with a self-developed Q2 chip. This chipset is said to offer PC-grade resolution scaling and native 144 FPS gameplay.
To enhance gaming performance further, the iQoo 13 sports "VAA Anti-Flicker" technology that aims to lower flickering and offer a smooth experience. The phone is also said to pack a large VC chamber, which promises to deliver stable performance under load.
It comes with a gaming-focused screen as well. More specifically, the iQoo 13 has a 6.82-inch LTPO display with 3168x1440 pixels resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate. The company says that it's tuned to consume lower power and have lower latency than the predecessor.
Other confirmed specs of the iQoo 13 include UFS 4.0 storage, LPDDR5X Ultra memory, a triple camera setup on the back with a halo RGB light, a 6,150 mAh battery, and support for 120W fast charging support (140W Anker 737 power bank curr. $109.99 on Amazon).
