iQoo 13 India launch confirmed: Here's everything we know so far
Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo has officially confirmed that it will launch its latest performance-focused iQoo 13 smartphone in the South Asian nation in December 2024. The official news comes from the iQoo’s X (formerly Twitter) handle. However, the brand hasn’t revealed a launch date, but we should know the exact launch date in the coming weeks.
iQoo 13 already made its debut on October 30 in China. So, specs-wise, there isn’t going to be a huge difference except for UI - the global variant will ship with Funtouch OS instead of Origin OS out of the box. As far as color options are concerned, the landing page for the iQoo 13 is already live on Amazon.in which confirms the color options.
iQoo 13 will come with Legend (with BMW tri-color pattern) and Alpha color options. However, there is no word on other color options. For example, the iQoo 13 is offered in four color options in China, such as white, green, grey, and black. However, in India, the landing page currently shows only two color options.
The iQoo 13 landing page on Amazon confirmed several features of the Indian variant including the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, iQoo’s self-developed Q2 computing chipset, and a LTPO AMOLED screen with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
Another new addition is the Halo light placed around the camera module of the iQoo 13. Speaking about specifications it remains mostly identical to the Chinese version. You’ll get a triple rear camera array consisting of a 50MP primary shooter, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. There’s a 32MP selfie camera on the front for selfies and video calls.
The handset will feature a 6,150mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support. However, this time too, there is no wireless charging support for the Chinese variant, and we can expect the same for the Indian variant.
The iQoo 13 will be available exclusively via Amazon.in and the iQoo India online store after the official launch.
