iQoo has officially confirmed the next generation of iQoo Neo smartphones is on the way. It promises improved features but is keeping a tight lip on features for now.

Following the launch of the iQoo 13 flagship in China, the brand has now confirmed its Neo10 series of smartphones is about to arrive soon. The announcement comes after a handful of leaks revealed key details about the upcoming devices.

iQoo's Neo series can be likened to Xiaomi's T-series. While they pack flagship features, there are usually just enough trade-offs to place them under the main flagship number series. This trend is expected to continue with the upcoming Neo10 series.

The confirmation comes via a post on Weibo by a company official. It doesn't say much but promises that the new generation of phones will exceed expectations.

The iQoo Neo10 series is expected to have at least two models - the standard Neo 10 and the more premium, Neo 10 Pro. However, there's a chance a mid-cycle refresh with a plus suffix may launch later just as it did with the Neo9 series. There's no date yet for the launch of the iQoo Neo10 series but it should be announced this month or in December going by the Neo9 series' launch.

The Neo10 series will be announced in China first before getting an international release. Although, there's the chance the international variants may have different specifications as is the case with the iQoo Neo9 Pro whose Chinese variant has a Dimensity 9300 processor while the variant sold in India has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

Details of the iQoo Neo10 Pro that have appeared in leaks include a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a Dimensity 9400 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage. It is also reported to have two 50MP cameras on the back, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a larger battery capacity, and support for 120W fast wired charging.
