The S20 Pro might be one of the more affordable new Android smartphones to be released by Vivo in the near future. Despite that, the device is now depicted as having a lot in common with the OEM's latest X200-series flagships, one of their 50MP rear cameras included. The S20 Pro also seems to have the same wired charging speed and screen resolution as its higher-end counterparts.

Vivo is now said to have a successor to the S19 Pro - a smartphone that is also available as the V40 Pro on Amazon in India - in the works.

The allegedly upcoming S-series flagship may have been spotted on the 3C regulatory database as the V2430A ahead of its debut. If so, the device has been cleared to use the same power bricks with which the X200 Pro was tested (V9082LOA1-CN and V9082LOE1-CN).

Accordingly, it looks like the S20 Pro will be able to boast 90W charging - not the fastest in the world, but still flagship-grade in the Vivo universe.

On that note, it might be in line for an on-trend enlarged battery, a 50MP periscope zoom camera with 3X optical zoom and a 1.5K display, albeit one driven by the Dimensity 9300+ platform rather than the X200 line's newer 9400 silicon.

The widely-regarded leaker Digital Chat Station has vaguely hinted that the S20 Pro will set itself apart by being thinner than the new Vivo flagships, which may or may not dash hopes of a switch to a flat-edged frame among S-series fans.
