Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim: Launch info of Samsung's iPhone 17 Air rival outed by leaker
As reported in the past, Samsung looks set to launch an entirely new model in the Galaxy S25 series. This device, the Galaxy S25 Slim, will arrive as a design-focused premium phone to rival Apple's rumored iPhone 17 Air, and a new leak has more insight into Samsung's launch plans for the device.
As revealed by leaker Max Jambor, the Galaxy S25 Slim will not launch at the same time as Samsung's standard trio of flagships—the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra. Presumably, the S25 Slim will launch later in the year instead, perhaps alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 at Unpacked in July or August.
While there have been rumors that the Galaxy S25 Slim will be a direct successor to the Galaxy S24 FE, those rumors are likely misguided, with the source claiming the "Slim" phone will be its own thing. Said to bear the model number "SM-S937B", the Galaxy S25 Slim may well be positioned between the S25 Plus and S25 Ultra, with reports also touting Ultra-grade camera hardware.
