Oppo was one of the first Android OEMs to release a Dimensity 9400-powered smartphone when it introduced the Find X8 Pro at the end of last month. For reference, the other examples of the Dimensity 9400 are the Vivo X200 Pro and X200 Pro mini, launch details for which we have discussed separately.
Ultimately, all three smartphones remain exclusive to China. However, Vivo has now started teasing the release of the X200 Pro series internationally. On the basis of various recent leaks, Oppo may not be that far behind Vivo, either.
Reportedly, Oppo plans to officially introduce the Find X8 series internationally on November 21, although it remains to be seen in what countries the pair will be available. Seemingly, Oppo will unveil the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro in India first before embarking on other markets.
If that is the case, then we suspect that Oppo will hold off from releasing its latest flagships elsewhere before early 2025. Nonetheless, the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro should be a match for forthcoming flagships like the Galaxy S25 series, as well as the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL (curr. $1,099 on Amazon). Please see our Find X8 and Find X8 Pro launch articles for further hardware details.
