RedMagic 10 Pro global launch teased ahead of Chinese debut
Nubia is gearing up to release the RedMagic 10 Pro series. The lineup is expected to bring three gaming phones: Pro, Pro+, and Ultra. All of them will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and recent benchmarks show that the SoC, paired with an active cooling fan, can offer better performance than the other next-gen flagships.
This gaming phone lineup is set to be fully unveiled in China on November 13, and ahead of this Chinese debut, the company has teased the global launch of the RedMagic 10 Pro. While there's no specific date on the official teaser page, the international debut could happen in December or early 2025.
Worth noting that Nubia didn't take long to announce the RedMagic Nova gaming tablet for the global market. It took less than two weeks after the Chinese debut. Of course, even if the 10 Pro launches internationally in December, it wouldn't be the first Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphone to step outside China, as the Realme GT 7 Pro is already confirmed to launch in India on November 26.
Getting back to the RedMagic 10 Pro, the company has revealed a couple of details about the upcoming gaming phone. It will be pairing the Snapdragon 8 Elite with a self-developed Red Core R3 gaming chip. This combination promises 45% better performance and 52% lower peak power consumption.
The gaming phone is also confirmed to feature a "Wukong screen" with narrower bezels than the RedMagic 9S Pro (available on Amazon). This display measures 6.85 inches, has a 1.5K resolution, and supports 144 Hz refresh rate. More details about the 10 Pro could emerge in the coming days.
