RedMagic Nova gaming tablet tops AnTuTu's new Android tablet performance ranking
Like every month, AnTuTu has revealed the top-performing devices that got the highest average benchmark scores in October 2024. The flagship smartphone category was mostly dominated by the newly introduced Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphones, and in the Android tablet performance list, the RedMagic Nova with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version took the lead.
RedMagic's gaming tablet got an average of 2,149,092 points, securing the topmost position in the list. Oppo's Pad 3 Pro with the same SoC got the second spot, with an average score of 2,112,629. The iQoo Pad 2 Pro with the Dimensity 9300+ has held up well throughout October. It secured the third spot with an average of 2,068,898 points.
The Vivo Pad 3 Pro and OnePlus Pad Pro (non-Pro curr. $340 on Amazon) got fourth and fifth places, and they feature the Dimensity 9300 and non-overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, respectively. Another gaming tablet that made its way to the October performance ranking of AnTuTu is the newly launched Lenovo Legion Y700, positioning itself in the sixth spot.
Among the other tablets on the list are the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro, Vivo Pad 3, iQoo Pad 2, and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro. All of them except the Pad 6S Pro have the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. You can learn about their average scores from the picture attached at the end.
As for the positions of the Android tablets, it's interesting to see the Legion Y700 having such a noticeable difference when compared to the RedMagic Nova. However, the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and an active cooler do give the latter an advantage, and it's also worth noting that benchmark scores aren't everything. You also need to consider the battery, form factor, screen, and other factors when purchasing an Android tablet.
